A visit to the Prescott Farmers and Crafters Market

Estimated read time 2 min read

Our visit to the Prescott Farmers and Crafters Market was a surprise. The market itself was smaller than expected however, the path along the St. Lawrence River, the Riverwalk, was a pleasant surprise. There was also a Shakespearean play taking place outside along the Riverwalk. It was such a quaint and idyllic setting, that it was hard to be disappointed by the size of the market.

The market itself wasn’t a washout. The vendors were all very nice and welcoming. We, Norm and I, ended up getting baked goods including dog treats for Norm from Bevy’s Kitchen. There was the usual market singer performing for everyone. On this particular Saturday there was a pop-up market further down the Riverwalk. This was an added bonus.

The town of Prescott was and is worth a visit during the summer. Visiting on a Saturday morning and the added bonus of the Farmers and Crafters’ Market. This market is just one of many in Southeastern Ontario.

I enjoy learning and sharing that knowledge. Sharing has been in many forms over the years, as a teaching assistant, university lecturer, Pilates instructor, math tutor and just sharing with friends and family. Throughout, summarizing what I have learnt in words has always been there and continues to through blog posts, articles, video and the ever growing forms of content out there!
